Time to go to Noumea now. It's so hot!
Il est temps d'aller a Noumea maintenant. Il fait si chaud!

The trip in the plane
went well, Lou-anne
got comfortable.
Le voyage s'est bien passe,
Lou-anne s'est
mise a l'aise.

And me, well I felt that the bed that they give us shrunk
since last time.

Et moi, et bien j'ai eu l'impression
que les lits qu'ils nous donnent
ont retrecie.

First thing I did when we got at
mamily's and papily's house was a nap.
It was so hot it was hard
to get comfortable,
but in the end I got there!

La premiere chose que j'ai fait
en arrivant chez mamily et papily
c'etait une sieste.
Il faisait tellement chaud
que c'etait dure de trouver une position
confortable,
mais j'y suis arrive!

Then I went to check out all the toys
that was in the garden.
There was so many cool stuff.
En suite je suis allee voir tous les jouets qu'il y a dans le jardin. Y'en a de partout.

Mummy found a jail to put me in sometimes,
what I don't understand is that my big cousins
loved going in there to play when all I wanted to do
was getting out of there!!??!!
Maman a trouve une prison pour m'y mettre de temps a autre, ce que je ne comprends pas c'est que mes grands cousins adoraient venir jouer dedans quand moi j'avais qu'une envie c'etait d'en sortir le plus rapidement possible!!??!!

There is some funny animals in Noumea...
Here's a grasshoper, pretty big hey! It leaves in
coconuts tree that's why it's called a coconut tree grassehoper.
You should check out the coconut tree crabs in google...
Y'a des animaux bizard a Noumea... voici une sautrelle de cocotier, elle est grosse non! Vous devriez jeter un coup d'oeuil sur les crabs de cocotier...

The boys played with the water guns alot,
it was a good way of cooling down.
Les garcons jouaient beaucoup avec les pistolets a eau,
c'etait un bon moyen pour se raffraichir.

It was Mael's birthday on the 20th of december,
he just turned 3 years old, what a big boy!
C'etait l'anniversaire de Mael le 20 decembre, il a fete ses 3ans, quel grand garcon!

We went to see Santa at the boat club,
he arrived on a boat and gave us presents.
Nous sommes alles voir le papa noel au CNC,
il est arrive en bateau et nous a donne des cadeaux.

Mael had a little something for everyone
to celebrat new year.
Mael avait un petit quelque chose pour tout le monde pour feter la nouvelle annee.

Then it was time for the fireworks on the beach!
Puis il etait temps d'aller sur la plage pour les feux d'artifice!

For the rest of the night you'll have to see with mummy
cause me, I went to sleep.
Pour la suite de la soiree il faudra voir avec maman car moi je suis alle me coucher.

All I know is that it was a long night.
Tout ce que je sais c'est que c'etait une longue nuit.

Mamy papillon tought me how to ride
one of those, i loved it.
Mamy papillon m'a appris un truc nouveau c'etait super genial.

Then we went to the beach for a swim
with the dog.
En suite nous sommes alle a la plage pour nous baigner avec le chien.
There was even horses in the sea.
Il y avait meme des chevaux dans la mer.

I was the first one to go for
a ride on it.
